How to Get a Horse in Slayers 2 (Taming Guide)

Horses are the only mount in Slayers 2 at launch (the Archives list one item under Mounts), and the map is big enough that one saves a lot of walking. Scuby and syoct both covered it on launch day.

Step by step

1. Save 15,000 Wen. Scuby says taming costs 15k Wen, the currency from quests, so you need a few quest rounds first.
2. Wait for a spawn message. syoct points out that a notification on the left of your screen says a horse has spawned near a named place.
3. Find the horse. Spawns are random across the map. The Horse Spawn Locator pass (120 Robux) shows exactly where; without it, head to the area in the message.
4. Tame it. Hold T next to the horse. In the minigame, stop when the moving inner circle lines up with the outer circle. Keep doing it until the meter reaches 100%.
5. Pay. After taming, you can buy the horse for the 15,000 Wen.

Tips

• The spawn is shared by the server, so be quick after the message.
• Mounting makes the long routes (the Final Selection, the snow area, trainer hunting) much faster; Builderboy rides between spots in his location videos.
• Horses tire: Builderboy runs out of horse stamina on the way into the snow, so rest it or walk the last part.
